The city of Cervia boasts of a patrimony of green areas. The touristic development happened in total harmony with the guardianship of the environment, as it shows the secular pinewood of Cervia extended on circa 260 hectares. In addition to this in 1963 the city assisted to the institution of a Natural Park of 23 hectares. An ample band of pinewoods constitutes a green lung between the beach and the localities of Pinarella and Tagliata.
